The network

How the islands connect

Four islands, one ferry network. Port Blair is the hub — everything else runs from there or between Havelock and Neil.

Havelock and Neil were officially renamed Swaraj Dweep and Shaheed Dweep, and Port Blair is now Sri Vijaya Puram — operators use both names, so you will see them interchangeably on tickets.

Every crossing on this network is a high-speed catamaran and takes between one hour and ninety minutes. Baratang is the exception: it is reached on the Lime Stone Cave route, and those sailings include the excursion in the fare.

The vessels

Who you'll be sailing with

Every ferry on this network is a fully air-conditioned high-speed catamaran. The cabins differ, and so does the price.

Which Makruzz will I be on? Makruzz sails Makruzz, Gold and Pearl on the same routes and assigns the vessel per departure, so the operator confirms the hull at check-in. The cabin class you book — Premium, Deluxe or Royal — is guaranteed either way.

03

Get your ticket

Pay securely and your e-ticket and PNR arrive by email and WhatsApp.

Before you sail

Questions we get asked most

What ID do I need to board?+

Every passenger needs the original government photo ID used at booking. Foreign nationals must carry their passport, and the passport number is required when booking.

How early should I reach the jetty?+

At least 45 minutes before departure. Ferries sail on time and boarding closes well before the scheduled departure.

Do infants need a ticket?+

Infants under two travel free on the lap and do not get a seat. Add them as infants when searching so the operator has them on the manifest.

Can I cancel or change my booking?+

Yes — request it from My Trips and our team processes it with the operator. Refunds depend on how close to departure you cancel; the applicable amount is confirmed before anything is cancelled.

Is there a luggage limit?+

Operators allow one check-in bag and one cabin bag per passenger. Excess luggage is charged at the jetty by the operator.

What if the sea is rough?+

Operators cancel sailings in bad weather at the administration's direction. If your sailing is cancelled you are refunded in full or moved to the next available one.
